CHRISTMAS

The holidays seemed to fly by...and here we are in January without even a teeny post :(. Life was so busy that we unfortunately did not get to relish in the spirit of the season as much as past years. But here is our holiday in a nustshell:

-I did not get very much shopping done...stress!
-We did not make our yearly graham cracker "gingerbread" houses...bummer!

-We didn't even try to play 12 days of Christmas to serve another family...:(!
-Confusion about holiday plans led to no traditional Christmas eve gift opening...very sad!
But on a happy note...

-My sister and her family came for the holiday...super fun!

-Christmas morning at Grandma & Grandpa's with everyone went without a hitch and was pleasant :).

-We did read (and paraphrase) for the first time "The Fourth Wise Man" now that the kids are getting older and hope to make that a tradition passed from Tim's Family.

-We did enjoy the holiday and the kids got plenty of gifts and had a blast!

This year was special with Janae, we just did not get very much done. Next Year I will not have a newborn and I am sure the Holiday will be more eventful. We are grateful for the season which helps us focus on our Savior and love the joy of Christmas.
